THC VS CBD
The two main cannabinoids (chemical compounds) in marijuana are THC and CBD.
Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the psychoactive chemical compound in marijuana that induces a cerebral euphoria. THC enhances creativity and alertness. THC is found in indica, sativa, and hybrid strains.
Cannabidiol (CBD) is the extract from the marijuana plant with little or no psychoactive properties, but can be used to provide relief for inflammation, pain, and numerous other conditions.
Medical marijuana products are available with different THC/CBD ratios to treat different conditions. Products may vary in ratio. Please ask our pharmacists if you have any questions!
